As autumn arrives and the clocks go back this Sunday, conveyancing shows no sign of slowing. While some colleagues take a well-earned half-term break, the rest of the team keeps transactions moving, a reminder of the collaboration and resilience that define our sector. In 2025, UK property transactions now average 205 days from offer to completion, up from 195 days in 2024, highlighting the ongoing challenges of managing enquiries and maintaining efficiency.
At Collaborative Conveyancing, we celebrate the innovation, partnerships, and professionals keeping everything running smoothly as we head toward year end.
Industry News
Last month, The Law Society announced the 6th edition of the TA6 Property Information Form, which becomes mandatory for Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) firms from 30 March 2026.
Key updates include:
- Simplified structure: 15 sections instead of the previous 18+.
- Revised language: More questions now begin with “Are you aware…” and include “Not known” options.
- Streamlined content: Several sections (including council tax, asking price, building safety, and coastal erosion) have been removed for clarity.
- Rollout timeline: Available from October 2025, wider use by January 2026, and mandatory for CQS by March 2026.
Now is the time to review internal processes, update templates, and plan team training to ensure a seamless transition when the new form becomes the standard.
Events
Our Key Relationship Manager, Lindsay Petzer, attended the SRA Compliance Conference this week and found it both useful and thought-provoking, with valuable insight into the evolving compliance expectations for firms and the increasing role technology plays in meeting them.
Awards
We’re also delighted to share that Collaborative Conveyancing has been shortlisted at this year’s LEAP Modern Law Conveyancing Awards for Best Use of Technology. We’re really looking forward to the event and wish everyone who’s been shortlisted the very best of luck!
Voice AI Solutions – Helping Teams Stay on Track
Our Voice AI solutions continue to receive outstanding feedback and it’s easy to see why. Last month’s Diary of a High Street Conveyancer highlighted the familiar juggling of calls, client updates, and “please hold” moments, particularly on Fridays when completions often take priority over inbound enquiries. Voice AI can ease that burden by handling repetitive inbound calls, reducing interruptions, and giving teams valuable time back. From the Will Review Assistant to the Virtual Receptionist and Client Feedback Agent, our solutions enhance the client experience while supporting staff to focus on critical tasks.
Here’s what one of our customers recently shared:
“We’ve been using CCAI’s voice AI solution as our virtual receptionist, and it has transformed the way we handle incoming calls. The system answers promptly, takes down caller details, messages, and preferred call-back times accurately, ensuring that all callers are responded to quickly and reliably.
Our clients have remarked on how professional the experience feels. This solution has not only elevated our customer service but also freed up our team to focus on core work. We’re so impressed with the results that we’re now rolling it out across another business. We look forward to what additional offerings the CCAI team have coming out in the future.
We couldn’t be happier with CCAI and highly recommend them to any business looking for a smart, efficient receptionist solution.”
